Welcomed with a lovely smile from the guy behind the bar. Never been before so strangers if you like. But the place had a warm welcoming feel. all customers in there gave us a friendly look . The meal was lovely excellent service and fast service. Enjoyed by us all. Would definatly recommend.

We ordered our lunch before setting off on our walk, and, when we returned, the meals appeared very quickly and efficiently. Good food, too. Limited choice of real ale (just two Robinson's beers), but the one I had was fine. Friendly welcome and good service, and a large car park across the road.
Very busy but that means popular. Good mix of visitors and locals. Decor may be tired but the food was excellent. Speedy polite service and well served in generous portion. Robinson's beer was also at its best.
